| Q. Can I just order the hindquarter of beef? A. You will receive all of the cuts from both the forequarter and hindquarter. Q. How much freezer space will I need for a side of beef? A. You will need an upright or chest freezer, if you don't have a lot of room we suggest you buy a ¼ and find a friend or family member to share with you. This will give you approx 20kg of meat each. Q. How much beef will I get once the bones and trim have been taken out? A. The average loss is around 35% Q. Can I receive meat all year round, or is it seasonal? A. You can receive beef and lamb all year round. Q. What will a side of beef weigh? A. ¼ approx 55kg to 65kg and up / side approx 110kg to 130kg and up, we can cater for your individual requirements because we process on order. Q. How do I know what weight and the cost of my order is? A. Because the animals weigh differently, one of our staff will contact you to confirm the weights and final price of your order. |
